The Michael R. Andrews '89 Memorial Scholarship

In May 2005, a few of us got together and started talking about some ways we could remember Mike and forever link his name to a time and place he really enjoyed.  From those discussions, the Michael R. Andrews '89 Scholarship was established.  To date, nearly $125,000 has been raised in Mike's honor from the very generous donations of the many friends he had made throughout his life, as well as the friends he never had the chance to meet. 

We shoud all be proud to know that  we will be helping students to attend Fairfield this year from the funds we have collected. 

Our aim is simple: provide financial assistance for a deserving Fairfield University student so they can enjoy everything the school has to offer.  We think Mike would have wanted it that way!

The golf outing, along with the annual "Mike Night" at Coppersmiths, combined with the generous donations received throughout the year, will allow the scholarship fund to grow.  This will, in-turn, give us the opportunity to continue assisting those deserving students in Mike's honor.  All donations to the scholarship are tax-deductible as the scholarship qualifies as a 501-C entity.
